Burnley has given Liverpool its most dangerous striker and Reds everywhere a reason to be excited about their newest goal-scoring threat.

Ings made his first public comments Tuesday since news of his agreement to join Liverpool from Burnley as a free agent on July 1 broke one day prior. Ings used Twitter to thank his former team for the good times and pledge to devote himself to succeeding with his new club.

Ings, 22, established himself last season as a Premier League-level goal scorer, having struck 11 times in 35 games for the Clarets. Ings previously scored 34 goals in 95 games for Burnley in three seasons in the lower leagues.

Burnley, which suffered relegation from the Premier League, released a highlight video as a tribute to Ings on Tuesday. Check out some of Ings’ greatest hits for a glimpse at what he might do for Liverpool.
