Chris Heston surely was riding high Tuesday night after throwing his first career no-hitter, but the San Francisco Giants served a reminder there still was someone greater.

Moments after Heston had completed blanking the New York Mets with 11 strikeouts, the Giants’ official Twitter account posted this:

Christ Heston

That’s right, “Christ” Heston. Just in case Heston was starting to feel like hot stuff, the Giants reminded him about some other guy who once literally walked on water.

Maybe the Giants were just referencing the holy trinity of three batters Heston plunked, costing him the perfect game?

Regardless of the mistaken identity, it was an unforgettable performance by Heston. The 27-year-old came in with a 5-4 record and a 4.29 ERA, having never before started an MLB game before this season. Now he’s thrown the first no-no in the majors this year.

One might say he’s finally risen to the top of his game.
