It’s become rather clear that J.J. Watt isn’t afraid of the spotlight — real or contrived.

The Houston Texans defensive end has turned himself into a star both on the field and off. His play is undeniable — he’s the best defensive football player in the game, and some would argue he’s the best overall player in the NFL. Away from the field, he’s a bona fide celebrity with on-camera appearances and social media domination.

Watt’s latest feat intertwines both his on- and off-field work. He posted this video from a Zac Brown Band concert to his Twitter account Monday, showing Watt make a perfect form tackle on someone who “rushed” the stage.

It’s clearly staged — notice how no security rushes out from the back to apprehend the guy — but the video is going viral and getting Watt even more recognition. So, mission accomplished for him in that regard.

Oh, and major props to that guy for taking a pretty big bump from one of the NFL’s best.
