Jackie Bradley Jr. is better known for his elite defense, but the Boston Red Sox outfielder came out swinging against the Toronto Blue Jays.
Bradley worked a full count before smacking a home run to right field off right-hander Marco Estrada in the second inning of Tuesday’s game. The solo shot put the Red Sox up 3-0 and was Bradley’s first homer of the season.
Not to be outdone, designated hitter David Ortiz added another solo homer to put Boston up 4-0 in the third. And it was an absolute moon shot.
Big Papi’s home run was No. 13 on the season so far.
