Kanye West enjoyed a nice, low-key night to celebrate his 38th birthday on Monday. Just kidding, it’s Kanye.
Kim Kardashian West surprised her husband by renting out the Staples Center in Los Angeles for his big day. The extravagant birthday bash included an outrageous number of celebrities and athletes taking over the hardwood for an East vs. West-style game that likely was more entertaining than any Lakers game this season.

John Wall, John Legend, James Harden and Russell Westbrook were just a few of the NBA stars who helped Kanye do what he loves to do best — celebrate himself — while Justin Bieber and Tyga also took part in the festivities.
According to TMZ Sports, Kardashian dropped a casual $110,000 on the venue, and she also hired actual NBA referees and Laker Girls to work the game.
