Let’s play two!

The Boston Red Sox’s Monday contest against the Minnesota Twins was postponed due to rain, so the Sox will make that game up Wednesday as part of a day/night doubleheader at Fenway Park.

The first game gets underway at 1:35 p.m. ET, and Pablo Sandoval will watch it from the bench, as Brock Holt takes his place at third base and bats sixth. Rookie catcher Blake Swihart also will be absent for the second consecutive game, as Sandy Leon gets the start behind the dish batting eighth.

Leon will catch for rookie left-hander Eduardo Rodriguez, who had an electric MLB debut against the Texas Rangers last Thursday.

First baseman Mike Napoli moves up to fifth in Boston’s order to replace Sandoval, but the Red Sox’s lineup otherwise remains unchanged from Tuesday’s 1-0 win over the Twins.
