Patriots Minicamp Attendance: Alan Branch, Fred Davis Return To Team

FOXBORO, Mass. — Mandatory minicamp brought out two New England Patriots veterans who were missing from voluntary practice sessions.

Defensive tackle Alan Branch and tight end Fred Davis returned to practice Tuesday. Branch missed all three organized team activities open to the media, and Davis was absent Thursday. Quarterback Matt Flynn also practiced for the first time in front of the media. He signed with the team Friday.

Wide receivers Matthew Slater and Brandon LaFell; tight end A.J. Derby; linebackers Jerod Mayo, Dane Fletcher, Dont’a Hightower, Chris White and Jamie Collins; offensive linemen Ryan Wendell and Sebastian Vollmer, and defensive linemen Chris Jones, Chandler Jones and Sealver Siliga remained out of practice.

There were 38 offensive players, 36 defensive players and all three special-teamers on the field.
