American Pharoah took home the first Triple Crown since 1978 by winning the Belmont Stakes on Saturday. Led by jockey Victor Espinoza, American Pharoah won the race by several lengths, turning the final quarter-mile into an astounding show of strength and will to blow away the rest of the field.

The win put the finishing touches on horse racing’s finest month of the year, in which American Pharoah won both the Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes en route to eternal horse racing glory.
