Sergio Ramos has a red-hot desire to leave Real Madrid for Manchester United.

Ramos told Real Madrid on Monday he wants the club to sell him to Manchester United during the summer transfer window, Sky Sports and The Mail report. Ramos is unsettled at Real Madrid amid a contract dispute and the star defender only is interested in joining the Reds, according to the reports.

News of Ramos’ demand comes less than a week after Manchester United made an initial transfer offer for Ramos. Real Madrid rejected Manchester United’s £32 million ($50 million) bid for Ramos, but the Spanish international’s resolve to leave the club he has played for since 2005 increased.

Manchester United then submitted a second transfer bid for Ramos on Monday.
