Boston now has 10 picks in this year’s draft, including two in the first round (Nos. 14 and 15) and two in the second round (Nos. 37, 45, 52).

Hamilton, a 22-year-old defenseman selected ninth overall by Boston in the 2011 NHL Draft, is a restricted free agent coming off an impressive 2014-15 season in which he set career highs in goals (10), assists (32) and points (42).
