After winning the Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes, American Pharoah will seek to become the first Triple Crown winner since 1978 at Saturday’s running of the 147th Belmont Stakes.
The heavily favored thoroughbred has drawn the fifth post position for a field of eight at Belmont Park in Elmont, N.Y.
