Brock Holt is back in the lineup for the Boston Red Sox.

The super-utility All-Star had the day off Friday against the Los Angeles Angels, giving way to Mike Napoli against left-handed starter C.J. Wilson. But Holt’s presence is a welcome addition for Boston, who couldn’t plate a run in its 1-0 loss in the opener of the four-game set.

Holt owns a .350 batting average on the road this season, the best of any player in Major League Baseball.

NESN’s Jerry Remy and Josh Maurer broke down Holt’s importance to the lineup on “Red Sox Gameday Live” before Saturday’s contest. Check it all out in the video above.
