Mike Trout is the best player in baseball, and he put his extraordinary talent on display Sunday against the Texas Rangers with two home runs.

The Los Angeles Angels outfielder’s first homer was a solo shot in the first inning. The second was a grand slam in the sixth — and it happened to land in a “Trout Net” device that a fan in the right-center field bleachers brought to the ballpark.

Trout’s latest blasts put him on pace for another fantastic season, one that might result in his second consecutive American League MVP award. He leads the AL with 31 home runs.
