FOXBORO, Mass. — New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick wasn’t interested in talking about the plane that flew over the Gillette Stadium practice field Thursday with a banner reading “Cheaters Look Up!”

A group of fans from NYJetsFans.com sent the plane to Foxboro, but Belichick claims he didn’t notice it.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” Belichick said before Friday’s practice. “What plane? I’m just trying to coach a football team.”

Typical response from Belichick. He doesn’t fuel controversies such as Deflategate and blocks out distractions better than any other coach. Besides, Jets fans don’t deserve the attention. Their team hasn’t won anything since Joe Namath’s famous Super Bowl guarantee in 1968.
