He has the hair, the swagger, and now he’s bringing the Fourth of July fireworks.

Bryce Harper hit the most patriotic home run you’ll see Saturday. The 22-year-old phenom stepped to the plate with his American flag-themed Washington Nationals jersey and a star-spangled bat on his shoulder with a runner on in the bottom of the first inning Saturday.

Then, this:

Yeah, that was World Series MVP Madison Bumgarner (owner of a 2.99 ERA) that Harper took deep.

After the game, Harper was asked about using the custom bat. His response?

The only thing Harper didn’t do Saturday was get carried onto the field by bald eagles.

Harper also became the sixth player ever to hit 25 or more home runs through the midway point of a season in his 22-year-old season, joining some guy named Alex Rodriguez and five Hall of Famers.

This guy is so American it hurts.
