No one has ever beaten Floyd Mayweather in his professional boxing career, but Conor McGregor is willing to give it a shot.

The UFC fighter appeared on “Conan” ahead of his UFC 189 fight with Chad Mendes, and talk show host Conan O’Brien brought up the fact McGregor and Mayweather are in the same weight class. The Irishman’s response was classic.

“If you’re asking would I like to fight Floyd, I mean, who would not like to dance around the ring for $180 million?” McGregor said.

And not only would McGregor jump at the chance to fight Mayweather, but he also thinks he could beat him easily.

“If you’re looking for a fight that can generate interest, it must be a match of different styles.” McGregor told O’Brien. “I’ve said it before. I don’t feel boxing is the style of fighting that can beat Floyd. But saying that, there are many, many forms of fighting that can beat him. If we were to get it on, I would most certainly dismantle him also.”

Forget Manny Pacquiao. Mayweather-McGregor would be the fight of the century.
