Danica Patrick was all kinds of fired up Saturday night, and Dale Earnhardt Jr. was in the crosshairs.

Patrick wasn’t pleased with Earnhardt Jr. after the latter bumped into the back of Patrick’s car on Lap 206 at the Quaker State 400 at Kentucky Speedway. Patrick responded by bumping Dale Jr. on their way into pit row, which led to Earnhardt cutting Patrick off.

“F— 88,” Patrick said, angrily, to her team. “Did he f—ing hit me? Go f— yourself. Really?”

For his part in the altercation, Dale Jr. was recorded telling his team “I don’t have any brakes,” according to NASCAR.

“We cooked the brakes real fast,” Earnhardt told NASCAR.com after the race. “… They got worse and worse and worse and I probably shouldn’t have been racing as hard as I was when we ran into the back of Danica. But I went into that corner and just mashed the brakes to the floor, pumped it three times all the way to the floor and then ran into her.

“There wasn’t nothing I could do. It sucks, I don’t like running into Danica cause it gets a little too much attention. But I’m sorry for that.”

Well, at least he knew he shouldn’t mess with her.
