David Price sounds excited to be on his way to Toronto. Now, if he could actually get there.

The left-handed pitcher was traded to the Toronto Blue Jays on Thursday in one of the biggest Major League Baseball non-waiver trade deadline deals we’ve seen this season. However, Price is having some issues getting to Toronto to join his new teams.

The left-hander sent out several tweets Friday documenting his issues. Price blew out a tire on his car at the worst possible time, making his Toronto trek a little difficult.

Then, it was time for a radio interview on “The Dan Patrick Show.”

Before too long, help had arrived.

At least when Price finally does reach Rogers Centre, he’ll have a nice little gift waiting for him in his locker, courtesy of his new employers.

Blue Jays fans have to hope this isn’t a sign of things to come.
