Dunkin’ Donuts Poll Results: Do You Like The All-Star Selection Format?

Another year, another discussion about how Major League Baseball should change its All-Star Game.

Apparently fans aren’t too fond of the current All-Star voting system, according to the Dunkin’ Donuts Poll. The current All-Star selection format consists of four voting phases.

Fan vote: Fans vote to elect eight National League position players and nine American League position players.
Player vote: Players vote to elect eight pitchers and eight back-up position players from each league.
Manager vote: National League managers select nine more players, American League managers select eight.
Final vote: Fans vote for the last player from a list of five players compiled by the respective managers.
