Eduardo Rodriguez continued his improvement Sunday, limiting the Houston Astros — one of the best offensive teams in baseball — to just one earned run in five innings of work. The rookie left-handed pitcher earned a no-decision in the Boston Red Sox’s 5-4 win over Houston, but he made history in the process.

Rodriguez had previously struggled with tipping pitches in his two outings prior to Sunday’s matinee, but both his form and his stuff have improved since getting shelled in two consecutive starts earlier last month.
