It’s pretty well-known J.J. Watt is a freak athlete. But we have more proof anyway.

The Houston Texans defensive end paid a visit to Minute Maid Park on Thursday to watch the hometown Astros take on the Los Angeles Angels. Before the game, he was invited onto the field to take some batting practice.

Save some athleticism for the rest of us, J.J.

For Texans fans worried that the NFL Defensive Player of the Year will make a career change, Watt said after the session he “(likes) hitting people better.”

The thought of Watt hitting anyone is a scary proposition, especially for Angels star Mike Trout, who got to meet the Texans All-Pro on the field.

Trout isn’t exactly a small guy, but he still was left in awe by the massive human being that is Watt.
