If you’re a New England Patriots fan and sat down to watch “Jeopardy!” on Wednesday night, chances are you weren’t too happy with one of the answers.
The answer-and-question game show was going along just fine, until host Alex Trebek revealed the following clue.

The correct question: “Who is Peeping Tom Brady?”
Nice, “Jeopardy!” Nice.
Of course, the show often uses clever wordplay in its clues, and there’s no way to determine if this actually was a reference to Spygate, in which the Patriots were caught videotaping the New York Jets’ signals — “peeping,” if you will — during a 2007 game.
Then again, we’re not ruling out that whoever wrote this clue is a Jets or New York Giants fan who is cackling hysterically from his or her underground lair.
Regardless of actual motive, the joke certainly didn’t go unnoticed among Patriots fans.
