Leah Still finally got to ring the bell.

Cincinnati Bengals tackle Devon Still’s 5-year-old daughter celebrated the end of her radiation treatment after a 13-month battle with cancer by ringing the bell at her hospital, a tradition in many oncology wards around the country.

Leah received the Jimmy V. Perseverance Award at this month’s ESPYs, which Still accepted on his daughter’s behalf by giving a moving speech about her strength throughout her entire journey.

“Although the kid is the one going through the cancer, because they mean so much to you, it feels like you’re the one that’s going through it,” Still said. “But these children, they stay strong throughout the whole battle, and they give us as parents the strength to go on.”

Leah remains under the care of doctors, but Still announced in March she’s currently in remission.
