Shabazz Napier reportedly is on the move.

The former UConn point guard, hand-selected by LeBron James to join the Miami Heat, will be traded to the Orlando Magic, months removed from his rookie season, Yahoo! Sports reported Sunday, citing league sources.

In exchange for the Roxbury, Mass., native, Miami will receive a heavily protected second-round draft pick, according to USA TODAY’s Jeff Zillgitt.

Napier averaged just 5.5 points per game for the Heat last season and also spent time in the D-League. His season ended early after he had surgery for a sports hernia.

Napier was a part of two national championships at UConn, as well as a prep school title with Lawrence Academy in Groton, Mass. Before attending Lawrence Academy, Napier played two seasons at Charlestown High School, which retired his number in 2014.
