July 22, 2015 — NESN.com set a new record with 7.3 million monthly unique visitors in June as measured by comScore Media Metrix Multi-Platform (US only). The most popular regional sports network website in the country since 2013, NESN.com’s previous best monthly unique visitor total was 6.8 million, set in January 2015. NESN.com’s monthly unique visitors in June 2015 increased 82 percent over June 2014.
“Our commitment to growing NESN.com in 2015 has included expanding the site’s video content,” said Michael R. Hall, NESN’s Vice President of Digital. “Our video production has increased 10 times since 2014, which has greatly contributed to NESN.com’s consistent year-over-year growth.”
NESN.com currently is ranked in the Top 20 websites in comScore’s Sports vertical, coming in at No. 15 as of June 2015. It also is consistently one of the leading local TV sites in the country. Over the last three months, NESN.com has the highest average number of monthly unique visitors (5.9 million), better than every local broadcast TV station in the U.S.
