David West has made his priorities crystal clear.
The veteran forward, who opted out of a contract with the Indiana Pacers that would have paid him $12.6 million this coming season, instead has agreed to sign with the San Antonio Spurs on a deal worth $1.4 million — the veteran minimum — according to multiple reports.

The 34-year-old West put up some of the worst numbers of his career this past season (11.7 points, 6.8 rebounds) for a Pacers team that failed to reach the postseason and is trending in the wrong direction.
Meanwhile, the Spurs, who are just a year removed from winning an NBA title, have been the big winners of this offseason thus far.
In addition to winning the LaMarcus Aldridge sweepstakes, re-signing Danny Green and Defensive Player of the Year Kawhi Leonard and landing a valuable veteran in West, San Antonio got the good news Monday that 37-year-old Manu Ginobili would be returning for a 14th season with the team.

Oh, and they still have Tim Duncan and Tony Parker.
