The Toronto Blue Jays’ stellar offense just got even better.
According to multiple reports, Toronto acquired Colorado Rockies shortstop Troy Tulowitzki shortly after midnight ET Tuesday morning.

FOX Sports’ Ken Rosenthal added that Jose Reyes, a former All-Star shortstop, will join reliever Miguel Castro and two minor leaguers in the package sent to Colorado.

The Blue Jays also will receive a reliever.

Tulowitzki joins an already impressive Toronto Blue Jays lineup that leads the majors in runs scored (528). The five-time All-Star is a career .299 batter who hit 188 home runs in parts of 10 seasons with Colorado. He’s hitting .305 with 12 home runs and 52 RBIs in 2015.
Reyes, a four-time All-Star, is batting .285 this season and has 471 career stolen bases.
The deal comes less than 24 hours after reports surfaced claiming the Rockies had no desire to move Tulowitzki. The New York Mets also reportedly had tried to make a deal for Tulowitzki, but were turned away.
