Somebody Changed Carli Lloyd’s Position On Wikipedia To ‘President’ (Photo)

Carli Lloyd for President.

Team USA midfielder Carli Lloyd put on the show of the century Sunday when she scored three goals in the first 16 minutes of the United States’ 5-2 World Cup final victory over Japan. Lloyd accomplished her hat trick faster than any other player in Women’s World Cup history, and became the first woman to ever score three goals in a World Cup final.

So, naturally, someone took to Wikipedia and edited Lloyd’s page. The anonymous editor took issue with Lloyd’s position and decided to change it to make things a bit more accurate (and, no, it wasn’t us).

The page since has been edited back to reflect her soccer position, but Wikipedia might want to think about making the edit permanent considering Lloyd scored her third goal all the way from the Oval Office.

People were so impressed with Lloyd that the Twitterverse suggested she become the new face of the $10 bill.

So, we’ll say it again: Carli Lloyd for President.
