Stephen Curry Says Good-Bye To David Lee By Recalling Time He Blocked Him

Stephen Curry and David Lee won an NBA title as teammates, but their time together might not have started on the best foot.

The two spent the last five seasons together playing for the Golden State Warriors, but that came to an end Tuesday when the Warriors reportedly dealt Lee to the Boston Celtics in exchange for Gerald Wallace.

In bidding Lee adieu, Curry recalled their first NBA interaction, which actually came when Curry was a rookie and Lee was an All-Star for the New York Knicks. Curry used the video in a good-bye tweet to Lee, apparently wanting to remind his now-former teammate of how far they’ve come.

That seems like a long, long time ago, as the two have become good friends, doing everything from teaming up to fight off pesky Australians to doing some darn impressive lip-syncing on the bench.
