Celtics Release Preseason Schedule, Including Trips To Milan, Madrid

One day after announcing their 2015-16 regular-season schedule, the Boston Celtics on Thursday released their slate for the 2015 preseason.

The C’s will begin preseason play in Europe, visiting Olimipia Milano on Oct. 6 in Milan, Italy, before traveling to Spain two days later for a matchup with Euroleague power Real Madrid.

The stateside portion of Boston’s exhibition schedule will feature five games against Atlantic Division opponents: two each against the New York Knicks and Brooklyn Nets and one against the Philadelphia 76ers. Two of those contests will be played at TD Garden and another will take place at Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester, N.H.

The Celtics open the regular season Oct. 28 against the Sixers at TD Garden.

Oct. 6 vs. Olimpia Milano (Mediolanum Forum, Milan, Italy)
Oct. 8 vs. Real Madrid (Palacio de Deportes, Madrid, Spain)
Oct. 14 at Brooklyn Nets
Oct. 16 at New York Knicks
Oct. 19 vs. Brooklyn Nets
Oct. 22 vs. New York Knicks
Oct. 23 vs. Philadelphia 76ers (Verizon Wireless Arena, Manchester, N.H.)
