Massachusetts is serious about its love for the New England Patriots, and its politicians are no exceptions.

Gov. Charlie Baker and over 30 other politicians joined Ice Bucket Challenge creator and ALS patient Pete Frates on the steps of the Massachusetts State House on Monday to douse themselves in ice-cold water. And Baker wore his best T-shirt for the occasion.

Baker asked the Frates family if it was OK for him to wear his “Free Brady” tee beforehand, per WCVB-TV reporter Janet Wu. And because no one in New England wants to see Patriots quarterback Tom Brady sit out his entire four-game suspension for his alleged role in Deflategate, it’s not surprising they didn’t mind.
