When it comes to headliners, WWE knows what it’s doing.
The wrestling company has featured some of the biggest names in popular culture of the last 30 years in its events — everything from episodes of “Monday Night RAW” to its biggest event of the year, WrestleMania.
Nothing has changed in 2015, as former host of “The Daily Show,” Jon Stewart, and star of TV’s “Arrow,” Stephen Amell, both have appeared in episodes of “RAW” after feuds outside the ring. Arnold Schwarzenegger, too, has been a topic of discussion in the WWE universe, as he’ll appear in the “WWE 2K16” video game.
Both Stewart and Amell will be at SummerSlam on Sunday, and in the spirit of entertainment, we took a look back at some of our favorite celebrity guest appearances in WWE history. While it’s certainly not an exhaustive list — or the definitive best of the best — the following cameos deserve to be relived.
