The New Day’s in-ring celebration Monday night on “RAW” was cut short by a pair of legends.
The Dudley Boyz returned to WWE for the first time since 2005 to wreak havoc on the current Tag Team champions. Bubba Ray Dudley and D-Von Dudley broke out tables and everything.
Bubba Ray, of course, returned as a surprise entrant in the 2015 Royal Rumble match. Monday, however, marked the first time both him and D-Von stood side by side in a WWE ring in a decade. And you could tell, judging by the reaction from the Barclays Center crowd, which went berserk.
It’ll be interesting to see how long The Dudley Boyz stick around WWE. They made a statement in their return, though, so perhaps the most decorated tag team in WWE history will taste gold yet again.
