John Cena shares the sentiments of most New England Patriots fans when it come to Deflategate
The WWE superstar was a guest on “SportsCenter” on Sunday as part of the lead-up to “SummerSlam,” and since Cena hails from Massachusetts, the Patriots and Tom Brady naturally were topics of conversation.
And like most Mass. natives, the wrestler is sick and tired of hearing about deflated footballs.
“Let your accomplishments speak for yourself,” Cena said, via Sporting News. “There is no better argument to any speculation than to go out there and just kick some (butt). You are great; you are part of a great organization that prides itself on trying to create a dynasty atmosphere. Stay the course, keep doing well, and years from now we’ll just wonder why we spent federal tax dollars investigating deflated footballs.”
