Kickers are an important part of winning NFL games and can play a positive role on your fantasy team as well.

That said, don’t make drafting a kicker a priority until every position — including your bench and defense spots — are filled.

Here are the top 10 fantasy kickers for the 2015 season.

1. Stephen Gostkowski, New England Patriots (Bye Week: 4)
Gostkowski is among the most accurate kickers in the league and converted on 35 of 37 attempts last season, including 12 of 13 from 40 to 49 yards.

2. Dan Carpenter, Buffalo Bills (Bye Week: 8)
Carpenter ranked second in the NFL last season with 34 field goals made, converted on 90 percent of his attempts and was 6-for-8 on attempts from 50 or more yards.

3. Adam Vinatieri, Indianapolis Colts (Bye Week: 10)
Vinatieri plays for a high-scoring Colts offense, missed just one field goal last season and benefits from playing his eight home games in a domed stadium.

4. Connor Barth, Denver Broncos (Bye Week: 7)
Barth played in just five games for Denver last season, but he still managed to go 15-for-16 for a 93.7 percent success rate. He also plays for one of the league’s highest scoring offenses, so even if he doesn’t kick a ton of field goals, there will be plenty of extra points to rack up.

5. Matt Prater, Detroit Lions (Bye Week: 9)
Prater made 21 field goals in 11 games last season, including a 9-for -3 mark on attempts of 40 or more yards. Detroit attempted the second-most field goals in the league (39) last season, so Prater should be a solid fantasy option if he’s healthy for a full campaign.

6. Steven Hauschka, Seattle Seahawks (Bye Week: 9)
Hauschka ranked fifth in field goals made last season and was a perfect 20-for-20 on attempts from 20 to 39 yards.

7. Cody Parkey, Philadelphia Eagles (Bye Week: 8)
Parkey ranked third in field goals made last season and was 32-for-36 overall. He also made all four of his attempts from 50-plus yards.

8. Justin Tucker, Baltimore Ravens (Bye Week: 9)
Tucker made 29 field goals last season (T-8th) and connected on eight of 13 attempts from 40-plus yards out.

9. Randy Bullock, Houston Texans (Bye Week: 7)
Bullock ranked sixth in field goals made last season and was 30-for-35 overall. He also was 7-for-8 on field goals of 40-plus yards and 4-for-5 on attempts of 50-plus yards. Houston’s 35 field goal attempts were the fourth-highest mark in the league in 2014.

10. Matt Bryant, Atlanta Falcons (Bye Week: 10)
Bryant is a very accurate kicker and made 29 of 32 attempts last season. He also has averaged 28.2 field goals made over the last five seasons.
