Floyd Mayweather To Ronda Rousey: Call Me When You Make $300 Million

Floyd Mayweather wants Ronda Rousey to call him — well, once she’s got his sort of earning power, at least.

Rousey put the boxing champion on blast last month at the ESPYs, where she hit him hard with some smack talk after accepting the award for best fighter.

“I wonder Floyd feels being beat by a woman for once,” Rousey said. “I’d like to see you pretend to not know who I am now.”

As it turns out, Mayweather certainly does know who Rousey is. It’s kind of hard not to after her most recent fight, in which she dominated Bethe Correia in just 34 seconds. However, Mayweather isn’t blown away by Rousey. At least, not yet.

Mayweather dropped by “SportsCenter” on Friday where, naturally, he was asked about Rousey. His comments were peak Mayweather.

“I just say that I’ve yet to see any MMA fighter or other boxer make over $300 million in 36 minutes,” he said. “When she can do that, then call me.”

Mayweather, of course, is referencing his record-breaking fight with Manny Pacquiao in which Mayweather made an estimated $300 million. That figure alone put him atop Forbes’ annual list of the world’s highest-paid athletes.

They don’t call him “Money” for nothing.
