Geno Smith’s Broken Jaw ‘A Favor’ To Jets Coaching Staff, Says Wikipedia

If you thought Geno Smith could never catch a break, you were wrong. Unfortunately, that’s still not a good thing for the 24-year-old quarterback.

New York Jets coach Todd Bowles announced Tuesday that Smith would miss six to 10 weeks after having his jaw broken in two places by linebacker IK Enemkpali. The Jets also released Enemkpali.

However, Wikipedia appears to think the coach should have thanked the outside linebacker for socking Smith in the face. Right after the story broke, someone changed Enemkpali’s Wikipedia biography, saying the Texas native was released after “doing the coaching staff a favor.”

Absolutely ruthless, Wikipedia.
