Hanley Ramirez, Brock Holt Sit For Red Sox In Series Finale Vs. Royals

Hanley Ramirez snapped an 0-for-16 slump with a double in Saturday’s loss to the Kansas City Royals, but he’ll begin Sunday’s series finale on the bench.

Ramirez and Brock Holt both were not in the lineup for the Boston Red Sox as they concluded their four-game set with the Royals at Fenway Park. Jackie Bradley Jr. will man Ramirez’s usual spot in left field, while utility man Josh Rutledge will start at second base in Holt’s absence.

Holt was a late scratch from Saturday’s game, as well, after experiencing tightness in his left oblique.
