It turns out Joe Flacco is a divisive subject, even at the first Republican presidential debate.
As MSNBC’s Chris Matthews was filming his show “Hardball” before the debate in Cleveland, Ohio, the cameras caught sight of an interesting sign referencing the Baltimore Ravens quarterback.

Ouch.
It appears the person holding up the sign was Twitter user @PFTCommenter, who is credited with creating the “Is Joe Flacco Elite?” meme.
Not everyone found the sign funny, though, especially the Ravens.

No matter what, the nation continues to wonder how elite Flacco really is.
