BOSTON — The Red Sox hope to rebound Tuesday night after dropping the opener of their three-game series with the Cleveland Indians at Fenway Park.

Jackie Bradley Jr. seems to have made some serious adjustments at the plateĀ as of late, with 10 extra-base hits in seven games, but he will sit out in place of Rusney Castillo. The 28-year-old Cuban outfielder was absent from the Red Sox lineup Monday night, but he’ll start in right field Tuesday and bat eighth.

Eduardo Rodriguez will toe the rubber for the Red Sox, looking to bounce back after allowing eight earned runs over five innings last week against the Miami Marlins. Rodriguez holds a 3-2 record with a 5.35 ERA over seven home starts this season. He is attempting to become the first Red Sox left-hander to win seven games as a rookie since Jon Lester did it in 2006.

Brock Holt, 2B
