James Harden has developed into one of the best players on the planet, and that status comes with a few perks.

The Houston Rockets guard, who finished second behind Stephen Curry in last season’s NBA MVP voting, reportedly has started dating reality television star Khloe Kardashian, which means he’s been rubbing elbows with plenty of celebrities.
Wednesday night certainly was no exception, as he celebrated the special day with the Kardashian clan in Los Angeles and seized an opportunity to get in a photo with West, who is married to Kim Kardashian.

As you might imagine, though, the birthday bash reportedly got a little more crazy than the above photo implies. According to TMZ, Harden and Khloe Kardashian set off a 15-minute fireworks show at midnight that didn’t go over too well with the neighbors.
Things are looking up these days for Harden, who signed a five-year, $80 million contract with the Rockets in 2012 and has been named to three straight All-Star teams since he joined Houston.
