Jordan Spieth’s hard work starts well before his first tee shot.

Spieth puts in over an hour of work at the driving range and practice green before the start of a round, and with the results he’s had this year — winning the Masters and U.S. Open — it looks like that hard work is paying off.

Spieth starts on the practice green, where he uses an alignment stick for his first 12 putts. Then he sets up a drill where he gradually increases his distance from the hole by three feet.

Then it’s off to the driving range, where he makes a total of 65 full swings. He starts off with a 60-degree wedge and makes his way up to driver. He also uses an alignment stick and has his swings filmed during this portion of his routine.

After that, he proceeds to the chipping green 25 minutes before his tee time and hits a total of 17 chips. Then it’s back to the putting green for 21 additional putts before he tees off.

Check out Spieth’s entire routine in the video below.

Spieth will bring that routine with him to the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational this weekend, where he looks to get back in the win column after falling just short of winning his third consecutive major at the British Open.

“I’m hoping to kind of prove, coming off of this last major, that I’ve got like kind of a little bit of revenge that I need to get out from having control of the Open Championship with two holes to go and not closing it out,” Spieth said Wednesday, via Will Gray of Golf Channel. “That leaves kind of a bad taste in my mouth.”

Watch out, golf world. A motivated Spieth is dangerous, especially with that warm-up routine.
