Football season is just about here, which means Gillette Stadium is back to being the New England Patriots’ house. However, the stadium played host to a few noteworthy non-football guests over the weekend.

Country music superstar Kenny Chesney was back in Foxboro for his semi-annual mega concert, dubbed “Countryfest” by many. Included during the two-night extravaganza was fellow country star Jason Aldean.

Both singers made sure to show their support for both the Patriots and quarterback Tom Brady during Saturday night’s show, the final of the summer. Chesney autographed a Patriots helmet before pulling a fan in a “Free Brady” shirt on to the stage and putting the helmet on her head. Then, at the end of Chesney’s song “Boys of Fall” — a song about football — Patriots owner Robert Kraft and president Jonathan Kraft came on stage with the team’s four Lombardi trophies.

Aldean joined Chesney during the encore, coming on stage in his own “Free Brady” shirt.

Even the show’s opening act, Old Dominion, came back to the stage during Chesney’s show with one of the band members wearing a Bill Belichick-style Patriots hoodie.
