FOXBORO, Mass. — Julian Edelman remained out of practice on Day 6 of New England Patriots training camp.
Edelman sat out of practice Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday night after appearing to suffer an injury during Sunday’s practice.
Running back Dion Lewis and linebacker Darius Fleming were newly absent for Wednesday’s practice under the lights of Gillette Stadium.
Wide receiver Brian Tyms, running back Tyler Gaffney, offensive lineman Marcus Cannon and defensive lineman Joe Vellano remained out of practice.
Quarterback Matt Flynn, offensive lineman Caylin Hauptmann and defensive lineman Alan Branch still are on the non-football injury list and didn’t practice.
Wide receivers Matthew Slater and Brandon LaFell, linebackers Dane Fletcher and Chris White, offensive lineman Ryan Wendell and defensive lineman Chris Jones remain on the physically unable to perform list and didn’t participate.
