Arizona Diamondbacks first baseman Paul Goldschmidt is a powerful man, and he put his strength on display Wednesday night.
Goldschmidt absolutely crushed a pitch from St. Louis Cardinals pitcher John Lackey, and the ball landed deep in center field — 482 feet from home plate, to be exact.

It’s the longest homer of Goldschmidt’s career and his 25th of the season. If you don’t watch a lot of Diamondbacks games, which probably is the case, you’re likely unaware of how productive he’s been in 2015. The 27-year-old is batting .331 with 94 RBIs and an impressive .446 on-base percentage to go along with his 25 homers.
