Now that’s going to leave a mark.

Seattle Seahawks coach Pete Carroll simply was minding his own business during Tyler Lockett’s electrifying 103-yard kickoff return for a touchdown during a preseason game against the Denver Broncos on Friday, but that all changed in an instant.

The trailing referee was paying attention to Lockett as he ran down the sideline, which meant he didn’t see Carroll standing right in front of him. What ensued was an epic collision that you have to see for yourself.

Ouch. That looked painful.
