Pittsburgh Pirates Fans Make Incredible ‘Family Matters’ Tribute Video

It’s been a big couple of weeks for 1990s “TGIF” sitcom baseball videos.

Last Friday (fittingly), we brought you this incredible “Full House” video done by the San Francisco Giants. This week, it’s a fan video pairing the Pittsburgh Pirates and the ’90s sitcom classic “Family Matters.”

The Pittsburgh sportsĀ fan page/blog “Benstonium” put together an incredible Pirates/”Family Matters” mashup video that also plays on the idea of the “We Are Family” Pirates from 1979. If you’re a fan of “Family Matters,” you’ll absolutely love this video, which perfectly syncs Pirates highlights with the greatest TV sitcom theme song of all time.

If you’re not a “Family Matters” fan, you’re the worst.

By the way, great call on their part to recognize the similarities between Carl Winslow (Reginal VelJohnson) and Pedro Alvarez. Pretty uncanny.
