Tom Brady has a lot on his plate these days.
The New England Patriots quarterback is dealing with the ongoing Deflategate saga, which forced him to miss two days of practice to attend a hearing in front of a federal judge in New York. He’s also trying to prepare for the regular season and help his team defend its Super Bowl title.
If you believe the tabloids, apparently there’s trouble at home, too.
Brady and supermodel wife Gisele Bundchen have been having marriage issues, OK! Magazine reported Wednesday, citing a source who claims the couple’s relationship has been “strained for a long time.”
A brief look at Bundchen’s Instagram account would suggest otherwise, as the Brazilian model wished her husband an adorable “Happy Birthday” just 10 days ago. Yet OK!’s source claims the social media activity is just a “cover-up” to disguise their problems.
Brady and Gisele got married in 2009 and have two children together: Benjamin and Vivian. The couple signed a prenup when they tied the knot, but if they were to divorce, the split would cost $460 million, according to Hollywood Life.
Of course, there’s no actual evidence to suggest any of these rumors are true. But it seems Brady has more than just opposing defenses on his mind as he enters his 16th NFL season.
