The NFL apparently liked what it saw in the Windy City this spring.

League commissioner Roger Goodell and Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel will hold a press conference Tuesday afternoon to announce the NFL Draft again will be held in Chicago in 2016, NFL Network’s Steve Wyche reported Tuesday. The draft will be held from April 28 to April 30, according to ESPN.

The Auditorium Theater in Chicago was the site this spring of the first NFL draft held outside New York since 1964. The event traditionally has been held at Radio City Music Hall in Manhattan.

Goodell revealed last season that Chicago and Los Angeles were in the running to become the new draft hosts. It remains unclear whether Chicago will become the draft’s new annual site or another city will get a crack at hosting in 2017, but NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport believes the latter.
