There was a scary moment Thursday night on the Sprint Car circuit when a racer was airlifted from the racetrack.

Swindell flipped through the air and slammed into the wall along the front straightaway during the second night of qualifying. According to PennLive.com, the race went under a red flag as medical personnel removed Swindell from the car. According to the report, he was placed on a backboard and then into an ambulance.
